The problem: Florida sun fades it, the adhesive lets go, and within a year or two you’re looking at purpling, bubbling, and a peeling rear window. We don’t install entry-level film. Florida sets minimum visible-light-transmission (VLT) limits. On a passenger car, the front side windows must allow at least 28% VLT. The rear sides and back glass can go as dark as 15% VLT. The windshield can have a clear UV strip 4 inches deep, plus a clear ceramic film at any VLT — common on premium installs.

SUVs, vans, and trucks get the same front-window 28% limit but unrestricted darkness on the rear side and back glass. We’ll walk you through every option with real samples before any film touches your glass.
